Bob Gordon has spent more than 40 years working across Australia’s forestry sector, building a reputation for practical leadership, strong relationships and a deep commitment to the profession. A former Managing Director and CEO of Forestry Tasmania, Bob has held senior roles across forest management, policy, governance and industry. He is a former President of Forestry Australia and played an important role in the organisation’s evolution and merger with Australian Forest Growers. Bob was appointed inaugural Chair of Australian Forest and Wood Innovations (AFWI) in 2023 and is a Fellow of Forestry Australia, recognised for his longstanding contribution to the sector.
