Tommy Hicks is a Badimaya and Narungga man and Director, Culture & Community at Indigenous Energy Australia. A skilled facilitator and consultant, Tommy works with First Nations communities, industry and government to build trusted relationships and support community-led decision-making. His work focuses on ensuring Indigenous voices, aspirations and cultural priorities are embedded in infrastructure and development, with communities positioned at the heart of decisions that affect their futures. Through Indigenous Energy Australia, Tommy contributes to projects across Australia that promote self-determination, meaningful engagement and long-term social, cultural and economic outcomes, helping create stronger partnerships between First Nations communities and industry.
