About

Forestry Australia is a professional association with approximately 1,100 members, encompassing forest scientists, professionals, managers and growers operating in all aspects of forest and natural resource management throughout Australia. Forestry Australia advocates for and provides professional development to ensure evidence-based, balanced, integrated forested land use – as well as sustainable management that meets community and environmental needs.

The New Zealand Institute of Forestry (NZIF) represents New Zealand’s forestry professionals, providing a forum to exchange ideas, opinions and information. NZIF encourages and helps members attain and maintain the highest standards of their profession. They are focused on ensuring the sustainability of forestry in New Zealand – both the management of valuable forests, and the health of the forestry industry as it evolves and grows.
