2025 Forestry Australia Conference
The 2025 Forestry Australia Conference, the premier Australian meeting for forest scientists, foresters and forest growers will be held from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 October 2025, at the Adelaide Convention Centre, South Australia

Delegates will explore both the big-picture trends and specific tools, techniques, and policies that underpin effective forest and landscape restoration.
In addition to exploring forest restoration, the conference will explore the role that forest scientists and managers play in securing Australia’s future. Key topics include innovation and emerging technologies; new partnerships and opportunities; policy and policy impacts; markets, business and housing, lessons from the past to inform the future; social license and timber and forest products.
Together, attendees will discuss ideas, envision pathways, and explore a future that supports Australia’s forests to provide positive environmental, cultural, economic, and social outcomes.
